Discriminating the three vows and initiation of white dzambhalaOn 24 November, Buddhists from Dechen London and beyond gathered in the elegant Herringham Hall at Regent’s University for a day of teachings with Lama Jampa Thaye.
In the morning, Lama Jampa continued his commentary on Sakya Pandita’s Discriminating the Three Vows, clarifying how careful study and reflection allow us to practise the Dharma authentically and with wisdom. In the afternoon, he bestowed the White Dzambhala initiation from the lineage of Atisha, along with refuge and bodhisattva vows.
The weekend concluded with a joyful lunch following the Sunday morning Chenrezik ‘Great Compassion’ puja at Dechen London’s Notting Hill centre, shared with Lama Jampa and Dechen Dolma.
