Tekchen Lekshey Ling

Nuns doing a puja Tekchen Lekshey Ling (or Legshey Ling) is the Buddhist nunnery in Bodhnath, Nepal, founded by Karma Thinley Rinpoche. Dechen makes a significant annual contribution to the running Lekshey Ling.

The resident nuns work tirelessly to carry out the extensive programme of prayers and rituals for the benefit of all sentient beings in general, and by request for particular individuals.

Rinpoche has also founded a retreat house in the nearby town of Parping, sacred to Padmasambhava, where three of the nuns from Lekshey Ling take turns in three-year retreats.

If you would like to know more or help contribute to the upkeep of the gompa, please contact info@dechen.org.
