In this short work, taken from a larger collection of Kadam teachings, Atisha spells out the difference between self-deception and authentic practice of the spiritual path. In a simple and direct style Atisha's teachings show the way to genuine transformation of our life.
Initiation of Akshobhya
2.00pm - 4.00 pm
Akshobhya is the Buddha-embodiment of
unwaveringly pure mind. Thus recitation of
his mantra is extremely important for purifying
negativity, both during life and at the time of
death. This initiation is drawn from the Kadam
tradition of Atisha.
This initiation is open to all those who have taken refuge. Lama Jampa Thaye may bestow refuge by arrangement before such teachings if requested in advance. Please contact your local centre for details.
