Liberation by Hearing in the Bardo - Chogyur Dechen Lingpa

A textual teaching by Lama Jampa Thaye

10.30 am - 1.00 pm

The bardo is the intermediate state between death and rebirth, where in one encounters the basic ground of reality. This treasure text revealed by the 19th century master, Chogyur Lingpa, offers a direct introduction to the means of achieving recognition of this fundamental ground in accordance with the teachings of Dzok Chen.

This textual teaching is open to all those who have taken refuge. Lama Jampa Thaye may bestow refuge by arrangement before such teachings if requested in advance. Please contact your local centre for details.

The Initiation of Vajrasattva

2.30pm - 4.30 pm

Vajrasattva is one of the most important deities in Buddhism, embodying the natural power of enlightened mind. Meditation upon Vajrasattva dissolves all the veils and negativities that obscure our awareness.

In this initiation Lama Jampa will transmit the Vajrasattva practice from the lineage of Chogyur Lingpa.

This initiation is open to those who have taken refuge. Refuge will be given at the beginning of the initiation for all who wish to make a formal commitment to practising the Buddhist path.
