'The Eight Verses of Mind Training’ by Langri Thangpa

A textual teaching by Lama Jampa Thaye

Lama Jampa Thaye will teach Langri Thangpa’s celebrated ‘Eight Verses’ according to the commentary by Geshe Chekhawa. It offers an unparalleled presentation of how to develop and maintain compassion and insight in everyday life.

The Transmission of Phowa

2.30 pm - 4.30 pm

Phowa (‘transference’) is one of the most cherished practices of Vajrayana. Amongst the various cycles of Phowa, that of Amitabha is the most widespread since it provides the means for achieving rebirth in the realm of great bliss at the time of death. Lama Jampa will give the transmission of Amitabha phowa from the Sakya tradition.

This transmission is open to all who have taken Refuge.

Full day £17.50 / half day £10

Mid-day meals are available: hot, cold and vegetarian options are available at £5 a head.
