Weekly Events

Introductory evenings Tuesdays 8.00pm - 9.00pm
Each evening starts with 30 minutes of shamatha meditation followed by a short reading from Lama Jampa Thaye’s “The Melody of the Gentle Lord”, which will then be the topic for contemplation for the rest of the session.

“The Melody of the Gentle Lord” is a text based on the “Parting from the Four Attachments” (Zhenpa Zhidral), the renowned teachings preserved within the Sakya tradition.  Step by step they show us how to let go of the gross and subtle attachments which bind us to the wheel of suffering and prevent us from achieving liberation from conditioned existence.

These evenings are suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners.

Tuesdays 8pm, donations welcome.

Saturday mornings 10.30am- 11.15am
Drop-in Meditation
Why not give meditation a try! A short introduction to a simple meditation technique, followed by half an hour of meditation practice. No experience necessary.
Everyone welcome - Free.
