Bath Sakya Buddhist Group

Introductory Evenings

Every Tuesday at 8 p.m.

The Bath Sakya Group holds weekly Introductory Evenings at Stillpoint in Bath City Centre.  The group is run by members of the Sakya Buddhist Centre in Bristol.

These evenings include a period of meditation followed by a short talk on an aspect of the foundations of Buddhism. There is then time to ask questions, discuss issues arising and have a cup of tea. You will find a warm and friendly welcome at these meetings.

Meditation Days

Meditation retreat days are held during the year in Bath & Bristol to give people the opportunity to find out more about meditation and to develop their practice.

Regular Sakya Buddhist Teachings

These are held in Bristol and London, taught by Lama Jampa Thaye and other visiting teachers of the Sakya tradition.  The teaching events take place on a regular basis throughout the year.
