Sakya Buddhism London

Sakya Dechen Ling

There has been a Dechen presence in London since the early 1980's, principally consisting of regular Vajrayana meditation sessions run by experienced Buddhist practitioners.

However, with an increasing number of Lama Jampa Thaye's students living in London, and following Lama Jampa's own move to London in 2005, a more extensive programme of activities was established. This includes hosting major teachings and public talks in London by Lama Jampa Thaye, running weekly meditation classes for newcomers and organising meditation days.

Sakya Dechen Ling now runs weekly meditation classes in the City of London.

A property is currently being sought in West London to provide a physical base to the activities of Sakya Dechen Ling. If you would like more information about this project please email paul.haddon@dechen.org.

The group is administered by Sakya Thinley Rinchen Ling Trust, registered charity no. 282717.
