Sakya Buddhist Centre London (Sakya Dechen Ling) is one of the principal Sakya Buddhist centres in the UK. It was officially founded by Lama Jampa Thaye, in 2005. The Centre enables people to learn the systems of meditation and study of the Sakya
tradition of Buddhism, which is currently led by H.H. Sakya Trizin. Since its inception the Centre has grown rapidly, hosting a number of visits from Lama Jampa Thaye and acquiring a property in West London in 2007. The Centre will be blessed in the near future by visits from H.H. Sakya Trizin and his two sons, H.E Ratnavajra Rinpoche and H.E Gyanavajra Rinpoche, as well as regular visits from Lama Jampa Thaye. The Centre’s principal activities are in Notting Hill, West London; classes are also held in the City of London.
